Heaven sounds like a beautiful place according to Christianity. It all sounds good to be in the presence of the Holy Angels and the Lamb; to walk on the Golden Streets of Glory and so on and so forth. We’ll never hunger and thirst, we’ll never get sick, all tears will be wiped from our eyes and we’ll experience nothing but pure joy for all eternity.
It all sounds good.
And while all the Christians are enjoying the beautiful Streets of Gold and Glory in heaven, all the unbelieving are being tormented in an eternal flaming fire. Where are they being tormented? Revelation 14:12 says they will be tormented in the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the Lamb for ever and ever.
Note the keywords: In the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
But wait…isn’t that where all the believers are supposed to be; in the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the Lamb?
So I guess that means that Christians will get front row seat on the Golden Streets of Glory and watch as all the wicked are being tormented in hell for all eternity.
Not my idea of having a good time, but hey, Christians love to see others suffer so I guess they’ll have a blast. Well at least I’m thankful that I don’t have to go there anymore.
The Bible teaches “the wages of sin is death” and “the righteous will inherit the earth”, not fly away to some make-believe Christian heaven. There is nothing in those lines about eternal torment or Golden Streets of Glory. Yes, there will be a city of gold, but it is nowhere near big enough to hold all the believers.
So once again, Christianity teaches 100% opposite of what the Bible teaches.
Until next time!
